Soft Mints From Trebor Always striving for fresh breath and with a sudden urge to eat hundreds of mints, (may be the pregnancy), I stumbled across and old favourite I have not had for quite a while but one I spend many pounds of pocket money on as a child. Trebor Soft Mints had a great advert on the television when I say younger and I remember the tune... “Oh Mr Soft can you tell us why the world in which you live in is soooo soft,” It was great! Anyhow these Trebor soft mints have not really changed since my childhood and the wrapping is still pretty much the same with the vibrant green colour paper wrapping and the ... I remember when I was young these were my favourite sweets, I'd always buy a packet as soon as I got my pocket money on a Friday afternoon, but I haven't had any in ages so when I saw them the other day I had to buy some. They come in a foil wrapper with a paper label wrapped around it to keep it together. Sometimes the paper comes unglued and the mints go everywhere, so the packaging could be better, but not to worry, I usually eat them in one sitting anyway! You get 14/15 mints in a tube and it costs around 30-40p depending where you buy them. You can also usually get them in multipacks from supermarkets, where it will cost about 80p for a 3 pack, ... It is not for this review to debate the function of mint based confectionary, and for the purposes of this read we shall assume their primary use is to freshen your breath. We've all been there - munching away on a nice meal only to have a wave of panic half-way through at the realization we will stink at work tomorrow. Or maybe you're one of the few who gets to work and remembers they forgot to brush their teeth? Either way, you need a minty product to give you that toothpaste taste. Many people choose chewing gum, but I find it annoying just sitting there in my mouth, and the taste is soon gone. Others carry smints or other such tiny hard mints, but they are ... When I was still at school, my mum or dad would normally drive us, and quite often if it was mum, she would have a packet of Softmints in her bag and would offer one to me and my brother. I used to love putting them in my mouth and doing the Fruit Pastille trick on them, as in trying not to chew them, just letting them dissolve slowly in my mouth. Of course, this never worked, but it is what I remembered the other week as I was perusing the confectionery shelves at my local Somerfield a pack of these for 48p. I bought the packet, popped one in with the full intention of not chewing, but of course that's the first thing I ended up doing. Each packet ... Read the complete review

Trebor Soft mints are an essential item that every person should have handy. No body likes stale breath and these get rid of them quickly. I have a pack in my handbag, locker at work and my bedside table! You can either buy a tube of them where you get around 12 single sweets or you can buy them in multi packs of 3 tubes. Obviously like most things the multi packs are better value but the packets of mints themselves are around 45-60p a tube. They come in a tube with foil around them with a paper label around them. It's really easy to get into and pop one out while keeping the rest of the mints fresh and clean. The mints themselves are around ... Read the complete review
