Advantages: Tasty, good price in Home Bargains, long-lasting flavour

Disadvantages: Not as widely available as some other flavours, quite expensive in other shops

I am pretty boring normally when it comes to chewing gum; I tend to stick to peppermint Extra, or Airwaves if I'm feeling a bit adventurous! However when I saw these a few months back in my local Home Bargains store for the bargain price of 10p a pack I decided to give them a try. And i'm pleased that I did!

I found the flavour of these very pleasant; the lemon flavour is not too strong and not bitter or tangy at all; they are actually quite sweet. What really impressed me about this gum though is that the flavour lasts so much longer than some other brands, e.g. Wrigley's Extra.

This particular flavour doesn't seem to be as widely available as some of the other flavours in the extensive Trident range; they don't sell it at my local Tesco Extra which sells everything but the kitchen sink! However I spotted it on sale in my local Co-op for 53p which I personally think is quite expensive for 9 pieces of chewing gum. I fully intend to stock up on it if it's still available the next time I visit Home Bargains!

There are two other flavours in the Trident Fresh range: peppermint and spearmint. Trident also have a New "Sweet Kicks" flavour, Chocolate Mint, which sounds quite bizarre but I think is well worth a try!
