      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Horrible!

Loving my gum if I see it at bargain prices I always stock up big time which is why the lady at my local Nisa shop and I are now on first name terms lol. These are currently on offer from their usual 59p price tag to 10p a packet and I've got addicted big time and a jaw now resembling Desperate Dan lol.

      The Packaging....

Sky blue cardboard box with lighter blue swirls all over it that flips open to reveal 2 compartments where 7 gums sit in each side (14 gums per box). The writing on the box is in white, black and blue and on the front of the box I'm told it's Sugarfree Trident 'Soft' Peppermint x 14 soft gums. On the back of the box nutritional information is given, ingredients are listed as are contact details for Cadbury Trebor Bassett (the manufacturers of Trident products), the recycle and vegetarian symbols are displayed and finally there is a bar-code on there. Nice enough packaging and in my view better than conventional looking packets as it looks posher lol!

      The Gums....

All individually wrapped in blue and white papers, they are thin oblong shaped which are sort of white in colour with sky blue flecks running throughout each gum and soft to look at.

The gum is nice quality. Not bitty, nicely chewable and does go soft as promised rather quickly as it's chewed. The flavour of this though is odd (in my opinion). Yes it is peppermint flavoured but the sweeteners within this make it have a really bitter taste from the moment you start chewing it and in my view these arnt just sweet...but far too sweet and sickly and the peppermint flavour although fresh and minty just isn't strong enough for me although the flavour does last about an hour (if you don't lose the will to live with the sweetness and bin it in 10 minutes lol).

      All In All....

If you like unnaturally sweet gums this could be for you. Me I don't like it at all. I don't find it refreshing due to the sweetness of it and it makes me thirsty and even when I've got rid of the gum the lingering horrible taste stays put for ages! Yes it freshens breath and it is good quality even I won't argue with that but why an earth is it this sweet Trident, it's flipping yuk!
