Twix is officially one of my favourite chocolate bars! I had one today and I could have sworn the taste has changed since the last time I had one. It had a lovely essence of coffee in the aftertaste, which bought such pleasure to my mouth. The bar comes in two sticks and is very tasty and quite unique. It is also quite filling and has a variety of ingredients to give it a lovely texture.

It comes in a golden packet with the 'Twix' logo in huge, red, bolt letters. These letters are outlined in white, making it stand out amongst most other chocolate bars. The wrapping paper has a foil lining inside to keep the bar fresh. It has a flap on the back so that you can easily rip it open to reveal the two sticks.

The sticks themselves are rather long and narrow. On their upper surface, there is a slight texture; however the bottom is flat from the production. If you split a stick in half, you will see golden fudge towards the top which has a thick consistency. Below is the shortbread, and this is all surrounded by a layer of chocolate around the whole bar.

As you bite into these, it has a somewhat different feel to other chocolate bars. This is because your top teeth experience a smooth sensation as you indulge them into the soft fudge. As you begin to chew, the immediate chocolate taste fills your mouth and the texture is lovely with the shortbread that is crumbly but not too crunchy, giving an overall good chew.

It is very tasty and the flavours go together very well. As I say, it seems to have a slight coffee flavoured aftertaste and you can even taste it when chewing, which I find brilliant! It smells of any chocolate and there is a sweeter smell from the inside.

I bought my Twix for 43p, which I thought was quite expensive. I have seen them for lower prices, but for a lovely taste and filling little snack, the price isn't bad at all. I would recommend you try out a Twix if you haven't already! The texture of the chew is lovely and the taste works well with the toffee, shortbread and chocolate. Two sticks come in each bar, so you could even share one with your boyfriend or girlfriend!
