Twix are a chocolate treat that has been around for many years. I can remember having them in my lunchbox as a child and they were one of my favourite chocolate bars.

They are most well known in the two finger version but nowadays they do single fingers as well as snack size. They have also experimented by using dark chocolate and white chocolate instead of the usual favourite milk chocolate.

Personally I enjoy the milk chocolate it the best.
They are packaged in a light brown wrapper with a picture of the Twix on the front of the packet. They have Twix written on the pack in large bright red writing.

Twix are delicious. They have a lovely hard biscuit base which is like short bread. Then on top of the biscuit there is a lovely chewy caramel. The whole finger is covered in a nice creamy milk chocolate layer. The two textures of the caramel and crunchy biscuit work very well together. I personally like to peel the caramel layer off and eat it on its own for the full chewy enjoyment.

They do contain quite a lot of calories and for a single finger they contain 123 calories, 12.3g sugar, 5.9g fat, 3.4g saturates, 0.10g salt.

The bars can be bought individually or in multipacks. A bar containing two fingers cost 39p and they are available from supermarkets and newsagents.
