Advantages: It has two bars in the package

Disadvantages: A bit bland and boring

I have to be in the right mood for a Twix. They aren't something that I get a craving for very often. I'm more of a chocolate and peanut type of gal but the other night I did quite fancy one. The reason for this was because my mum had bought me one along with the tonne of stuff that she likes to buy my son every week. If I have a nice chocolate bar or something naughty in the cupboard then I'm one of those people that just can't stop thinking about it sitting there. I play with myself in my mind thinking 'Ill have it later, I don't need it now' and then I think 'oh but I should eat it' then I 'm like 'Oh no I don't need to eat it right at this minute'. Eventually I give in and feel at peace with myself.

The Twix is foil wrapped for freshness and consists of two long narrow biscuits within the packaging. The biscuits are made up of chocolate, caramel and crunchy biscuit. My hubby likes to bite all of the caramel off the biscuit but I find that the Twix is quite a boring biscuit without getting rid of the best parts! I eat the whole thing together and be done with it.

It's quite satisfying biting into the bar but the taste isn't that exciting. You get the softness of the caramel and then the crunchyness of the biscuit as you bite further. For the price you would pay I would prefer to pick up a cheap duplicate of a supermarkets own brand. The only thing that makes the Twix taste better than them is the chocolate because its better quality.

Over all I'd say that there are much better chocolate bars on the market and to be honest If I was going to pay out of my hard earned cash I'd rather go for something a bit more exciting.

Summary: There are better things on the market.
