Advantages: Tastes great and satisfies between meals.
Disadvantages: None.
I love a chocolate bar from time to time and although it is not my favourite, I still often find myself buying a Twix from time to time. You really cannot fault this bar, it gives you a bit of everything, creamy chocolate, delicious caramel and a really crunchy biscuit.
Twix`s have been around since 1967 and are still one of the top selling chocolate bars today, they now come wrapped in a gold foil wrapper with the word Twix in bright red lettering.
The typical Twix is a two finger snack but it can be bought in single fingers now, usually in multi-packs or you also get a king size bar which is just bigger fingers.
Each Twix finger consists of a crunchy biscuit base topped with delicious chewy caramel and then covered in creamy milk chocolate. The biscuit is hard and crunchy just how I like it and the caramel is very sweet but not overpowering, you get a real mixture of tastes and textures with a Twix and a very enjoyable one at that.
An average Twix bar will cost you around 45p but you can buy three packs in Asda for £1.09 and you also often get 5 packs for only £1.45 which is a great bargain.
A twix bar fills me up much more than other chocolate bars and therefore it is a very satisfying snack to keep me going between meals.
I am sure most people have tried a Twix but if not then go for it but be warned do not be tempted by imposters!!
Both Tesco and Asda make their own versions of this sweet and I can tell you now they are not even half as good as the original so never be tempted!!
Summary: Two fingers of greatness.
