The good old Twix bar has been around for as long as I can remember and I find that it's a sure fire way of putting a smile on your face around 4 o'clock when you've just had a really long day at school and still have loads of work to do. Anyway, the Twix can be bought in quite a few different sizes ranging from the classic two fingers to multi-packs of individual finger and lots of tiny little Twixes in big shiny bags that are perfect for parties.

As there are so many different sizes to buy the prices do vary, but you can expect to pay about 40 pence for the classic two finger packet.

The Twix itself is a long rectangular biscuit, which reminds me slightly of shortbread, with chewy caramel on top and all covered in milk chocolate. The flavours all balance really well so that it doesn't taste too sickly, although I do sometimes wish there was more chocolate than biscuit- but that's only because I have a very sweet tooth. Having a Twix every day is probably not the healthiest snack to have, but it's definitely a nice treat every so often.

One particular advantage of the Twix is the immense enjoyment you can get if you store them in the fridge, then when you eat it you have to try and role off the caramel into a big lump and eat the biscuit and caramel separately. Gross, but highly amusing and if you eat all the caramel at once your teeth get stuck together!
