Twix is my favourite type of chocolate bar. Normally, Twixes come in a packet with two long sticks. Each stick has a layer of biscuit like shortbread, with a thick layer of caramel of on top. This is then totally encased by milk chocolate.

The clever thing about Twixes is that they certainly fulfil any sugar cravings you might have, without tasting overly sweet. I think this is down to the biscuity shortbread which strikes a great balance with the caramel and chocolate. I guess this does lead to its own problems, because it is easy to gulf down two Twix sticks with ease and not really realise it, which is never going to be too great for your health.

Obviously, like all chocolate things, you want to avoid having this Twix melt in your pocket, but if it gets slightly warm it is just as nice, since the softness of it does not affect its taste at all.

Just keep your eyes peeled for that shiny gold packet.
