Advantages: Satisfies your cravings for Twix

Disadvantages: Sometimes too sweet if you eat too much

Twix is a biscuit covered in caramel on top that is covered in chocolate and so is a biscuit based chocolate bar. It is sold in shops such as newsagents and supermarkets and comes in a brightly coloured shiny gold packaging. A typical Twix contains two bars inside. An original Twix (58g) which contains two bars costs from 40p to 50p for whilst a Twix Kingsize (85g) costs around 65p. It does work out cheaper to buy in a multipack from the supermarket if you eat one or two daily. The Twix is a great snack with the perfect proportions of biscuit, caramel and milk chocolate on top. The biscuit makes a nice crunch and tastes great with the combination of caramel and chocolate. The caramel is not overbearing for people who are not too keen on it; there is just enough caramel so not a problem of it being very chewy like other caramel based chocolates. Sometimes it might taste too sweet but that may just be if you eat quite a few bars in the same sitting! But it is the snack to choose when you are making up your mind then and there what to buy on the spot!

Summary: The right proportions of everything.
