There's nothing quite like a Twix bar, and they're tailor made for sharing with a friend (or, more likely, you can just munch both lovely chocolately sticks yourself!). Moreover, the fact that the treat is divided into two sticks means that you can save half for later, especially considering that each stick has a hefty 6.9g of fat in it, making the entire bar incredibly bad for you as far as chocolate goes.

The bar itself is a shortbread stick with perforations, coated in soft caramel, and then a layer of chocolate also. I find it quite fun to bite into the soft layers above the shortbread stick, devouring them and leaving a shortbread stick with a mild hint of chocolate, which can then be promptly devoured to join the rest in my tummy! It's also fun to snap the bar into a few pieces, as it is perfect for dunking into hot chocolate, and I find it also quite impressive when added atop a cake.

The taste is truly magnificent - the exterior layers are silky smooth, and the shortbread has a very satisfying crunch, and as all the layers mix in your mouth, it is a wonderful experience that makes your mouth tingle with pleasure.

The wrapper is very distinguishable - the gold foil makes it easy to spot if the bright red font doesn't already. It's also quite a large bar, thanks to the two sticks being separated.

Twix is incredibly unhealthy, even for a chocolate bar, but this is invariably the price one pays for great taste. The upside is that it's easy to share, as it's already segmented into two sticks - and you won't feel quite as bad if you pawn half of the fat and calories off on someone else!
