Advantages: Tastes amazing.

Disadvantages: Nutritional content.

The twix snack has been around for as long as I can remember. It is a very traditional chocolate made by Mars and is sold and well known worldwide.

Confectionary wise I am more of a Cadburys kind of girl. Its just that it seems that no other chocolate is as good as dairy milk. Therefore it comes as a bit of a surprise that I enjoy Twix bars. To make up for the lack of dairy milk, they must have something really good going for them!

Thix bars come in gold packaging. They are foil wrapped and the packaging is easy to remove without messing up the chocolate bar. I am not sure if the packaging is recyclable or not. Like I say, the packaging is gold and it has a big TWIX logo in bold red text and a picture of what the inside of the bar looks like, which is enough to tantalise any taste buds.

In each 35g packet comes two twix 'fingers'. Each finger is coated in a relatively thin layer of chocolate (compared to for example a caramel bar). Under the chocolate is a layer of thick sticky caramel and then the majority of the bar is yummy shortbread.

For me the combination of chocolate caramel and shortbread is second to none, it just goes together to well and tastes devine. Twix bars are normally well priced and this makes them an excellent choice for a snack.

Now for the downsides. I dont really think there are any, but for the sake of a good review I'll mention some possibilities. The thick sticky carget messy and stick to things like your face and hands! Also the nutritional information is not the easiest to understand, as it gives it per 100g but what would be most ideal would be per finger or pack.

Summary: Get stuck in!
