Advantages: Thin so easy to eat, Universally liked ingredients

Disadvantages: Like with all chocolate, unhealthy

Twix is made by Mars Inc and is a popular chocolate and biscuit bar with a central caramel layer. Multipack Twix usually includes single bars, however when you intend to buy a single Twix bar, they are normally sold in pairs. Twix is easily recognised instore by it's gold packaging with bold red writing outlined in white. Twix was produced in the UK in 1967 and in the USA in 1979.

In my mind Twix is one of "The Big Three", the three chocolate bars that I predominantly consumed as a child, Mars, Snickers and Twix - although I realise now that Kit Kat should almost certainly be included in the list. Anyway I digress, but back to Twix, I found it a very easy chocolate bar to eat and still do. It's not exactly an aquired taste, it doesn't include nuts or rich noughat and everyone likes cookie biscuit right? The bars are not at all sickly because they are realtively thin and doe not have the sheer thickness of milk chocolate of some other bars. I love Twix, it's one of my favourites.

A 16 pack of Twix fingers is currently priced at £2.00 in Tesco and nutritional information is as follows:

Nutrition
Nutrient per bar

Energy kCal 125 kCal
Energy kJ 524 kJ
Protein 1.1 g
Carbohydrate 16.2 g
Fat 6.2 g

Summary: One of my favourite chocolate bars.
