Advantages: Delicious and filling.
Disadvantages: None
Twix is a chocolate bar made by the Mars company.
The packaging of a Twix bar is rather simple reflective golden colour, with the large red letters spelling out the chocolates name Twix! It also has a picture of a couple of the chocolate sticks with one of them opened so that you can see the biscuit and caramel inside, so you know what to expect of your golden wrapped bar of chocolate!
The pack is easy to open and inside of it you will find two fingers of Twix chocolate, they are a few inches long and about an inch thick and smell quite sweet and biscuit like.
Each of your Twix finger contains a delicious smooth milk chocolate coating with a bottom layer of crunchy traditional shortbread biscuit that is rich and has a hint of coffee flavour to it and a sweet caramel layer on the top which provides you with a lovely chewy yet crunchy and at the same time smooth chocolate bar, it's a classic combination of flavours and it works extremely well.
These are lovely bars of chocolate and yet I find that one of them will do me for a snack, the fact that a bar of Twix is surprisingly rich and filling is great as it means you won't be tempted to overindulge yourself and eat ridiculous amounts of the stuff.
Nutritionally these are surprisingly heavy chocolates but I suppose you can excuse it slightly as it is a filling and satisfying bar to eat, not to mention the great taste!
