Twix has been in production ever since 1967 when Mars incorporated decided to take a delicate cookie biscuit finger, coat it with a caramel layer and then bind it all together with a drizzle of mars styled milk chocolate.

Twix was taken to the united states of America in 1979 and in 1991 its name 'Twix' was recognised al over Europe as it replaced it's predecessor the 'Raider'.

Consisting of two fingers in a golden packet of temptation the Twix bar already looks appealing whilst still in its wrapper.

This is a great chocolate bar with many great ways to eat it. One of my favourites is to eat all the sides off first and then dip it into a cup of tea just enough so that the biscuit becomes soggy and the chocolate is warm enough to melt in your mouth.

I totally recommend this choclate bar to anyone wanting to fulfill their chocolate urge with something that could be described as biscuit-cake-confectionary bar hybrid.
