Advantages: Tasty, crisp, plenty of ingredience
Disadvantages: umm.... none that I can think of.
OK - I recently bought the three different Ugo Deli Panini's at Morrisons, as I thought they sounded nice, and more importantly they looked tasty, simply and quick to make as lunch at work. So for the next few days I am going to eat a different one for my lunch and then let you know what I thought, whether I would recommend it, etc. So here I go...
I often don't have long for my lunch when I'm at work. So I really need something quick and easy for the days when there isn't an hour free to go out and get lunch. Ugo's Deli Panini's are perfect!
So Wednesday morning, I came into work with my first Ugo Deli Panini - Bacon, Cheese and Mustard Mayo. At just over £2 each they were less than I spend on my lunch most days at the sandwich shop or Jacket Potato man.
Ugo's packaging is quite sophisticated looking. The different packages have different colours - All the packaging is black but the colour strips across the middle vary depending on which Panini you have - the Bacon and Cheese has a yellow strip.
At lunch time I went downstairs to the staff room and more importantly the microwave, got my Panini from the Fridge and started to read the instructions. They are pretty standard and simple to follow - the only thing you need to remember is to remove the sachet of sauce (Don't cook this in with it! I can't image that adding a good flavour to the sauce or Panini).
Just over 2 minutes in the microwave and the Panini is ready for eating. It is packaged in a foil lined cardboard cover which helps make the Panini crisp and hot while still being soft. Thanks to this slip my Panini was perfect - crispy but still soft. Pulling it out of the microwave the cheese was oozing out the sides, and it smelt really good.
There is quite a lot of filling in the Panini, with two generous slices of bacon and plenty of cheese, plus a sachet of Mustard Mayo which you add one once it is cooked.
The bacon wasn't fatty, and full of flavour. Still moist and tasty while being cooked well. The cheese was plentiful and quite mild, which went well with the bacon (as a big cheese fan, I was more than happy with the portion). The sauce was nice, and gave a good mild flavour to compliment the cheese and bacon. The cheese did not have the rubbery taste you can often get with microwavable food, it was tasty and melted well on the bread.
The whole combination of tastes worked well together and the lunch was filling. Overall I was really impressed, and I will be trying this again.
I bought mine at Morrison's for £2.29 and my colleagues have told me that they have also seen them in Tesco and Sainsbury's.

Summary: A good, tasty, easy meal for working women everywhere!
