Advantages: So many uses both for health and around the home

Disadvantages: If you dont like vinegar the smell will get you!

Vinegar is possibly the most versatile product in the world.... In World War 1 it was used to clean the wounds of soldiers, nowadays its uses are endless. It has a high concenrtation of acetic acids, formed when bacteria digest fermented liquids....

It's used really are endless ranging from Treating acne to killing foot odour. Cider vinigar is most recommended for health benefits however your everyday vinegar is just as good, and works as a very cheap and efficient household cleaner.

I have compiled a short list of some of its uses, but bare in mind this is a short list as its uses reach hundreds!

Aftersun...... It cools the skin as it quickly dries.

Hives & Bites.... Relieves itching by neutralising skin.

Foot odour.... Bathing feet in vinegar not only cools but also neutralises odour.

Stings..... Great during the summer months if stung by a jellyfish!

Sore throaths..... equal amounts of honey and vinegar make a very effictive cough syrup

Household cleaner.... Can be used alover the house for cleaning and killing germs. Even used on windows for an extra sparkle!

Antibacterial..... Fantastic antibacterial properties, may even be used to treat earache.

Deterrant.... Vinegar will stop bugs from coming anywhere it is sprayed

Vinigars other uses include the treatment of:

Body odour
Warts
Psoriasis
Hives
Indegestion
Nappy Rash
Headaches
Greasy Hair and skin
Dandruf
Bruises.

Infact, the uses are endless. Vinegar is so cheap now, you can probably pick it up for about 20p a bottle, however if like me you begin to notice its many uses and begin to use large amounts of it, you can start to make your own quite easily.....
Use boiled water to sterilize jars and utensils, use cider or wine and add a dash of vinegar, this triggers fermentation and in no time you have your own homemade vinegar, as much of it as you want, although I suspect with todays prices of both alcohol and vinegar, it is cheaper to buy a supermarkets own brand rather than use wine to make your own!!!

Summary: Great cheap remedie for many ailments, leaves a fantastic shine!
