However, the flavours are absolutley fantastic; i call it a "posh" pizza because it it essentially a flatbread with upmarket tasty goods on it so if that isnt your thing and you would like a chessy overload with a thich carby base this isnt for you! I would recommend this as a good one to impress or if stodgy pizzas arent your thing - at a low 380cal per ha...more

I have to say that this is one of the nicest "posh" pizzas you can buy. It is from Waitrose which obviously means it is expensive - at £4 this doesnt seem too much however the fact of the matter is that you dont get that much for the money - similar priced goods have lots of meat etc, this only has a variety of veg, ie courgettes and sunblush tomatos. Pull up a chair, open the wine, and prepare to be served! This pizza is one of the best I have tasted outside an actual Italian restaurant and is outstanding in terms of flavour, presentation and ingredients. A vegetarian delight this is made with a base of authentic Italian flour mixed with pure virgin olive oil, water, and yeast which is baked at a high temperature to make a lovely crisp thin base. The topping is a rich tomato based sauce with pepper, aubergines, courgettes, and sunblush tomatoes, and flavoured with oregano, basil, and parsley.
