Although I do enjoy their food, it's not often I get around to shopping in Waitrose. It's not a cost issue as I find the bulk of their products to be well worth the extra few pence in quality terms but I simply haven't got a Waitrose store within a reasonable distance for me to do my shopping. This week however I took a trip with my daughter to the nearest Waitrose and came out with several bags of goodies to sample, one of which being this wonderful Farmhouse Cheddar and Onion Quiche. Now the weather is getting warmer, quiche is the perfect week day meal in our house. I love Waitrose anyway and when I saw these quiches were on offer at two for £4- the same price as Sainsburys- I thought it was worth a try. The look of the quiche isn't that different from any other supermarket quiche and the cooking instructions are also pretty standard. I thought the quiche was a little bit small but when we actually say down to eat I thought half a quiche was the perfect size. The taste of the quiche is actually much better than I had expected- the custard is creamy and the taste of the cheese and onion really does come through. I was impressed that the ... Waitrose Extra Mature Cheddar & Onion Quiche (400g) Once I tried Waitrose Sweetfire Pepper Feta & Olive Quiche and it was fantastic, I bought it a second time when I invited my friends and I decided to buy it a third time but unfortunately I could not find it. I still thought I would try a different flavor, and because quiches were on offer On Ocado.com, I bought two. Waitrose Extra Mature Cheddar & Onion Quiche was one of them.
