 ... 5.8g fat, but as the squares are smaller than 2 inches I think it is the size more than the content that restricts the calories and fat. Still these are excellent for portion control because faced with a large bakewell tart I might just be tempted to cut a sizable wedge which could easily triple the calories! So to the taste test. I am a lover of anything with almonds and when I saw these little slices I thought they looked tempting. Made by Waitrose they are £2.15 for 6 and are referred to on the Ocado website as a cherry and almond stacker. Packaged in a striking black box with a red gingham tablecloth style decorative strip at the base these look appetising. They are pastry squares which have been topped with cherry conserve and then overlaid with an almond frangipane, which is basically a soft almond sponge and drizzled with a lemon icing.
