I love crisps. Baked, fried, crinkly. Chilli, salt & vinegar, cheesy, you name it, I love it. At least, that was the case until Walker's introduced this revolting monstrosity. Not only did I find the taste artificial and disgusting, but it made me feel sick for the rest of the day. What a terrbile idea to use "egg" as a flavour. ... Read the complete review

These Walkers crisps are proper rank and I can't believe it won the competition for the best flavour because the squirrel ones and the onion bajee ones were loads better. They are supposed to taste like a Builders Breakfast but I think they are just funny tasting smoky bacon crisps and aren't nice tasting at all. The funny taste is ... Read the complete review

You could see what Walkers were going for with this flavour, but it really doesn't come across well. Builders Breakfast Crisps were the winners of a poll from the public in order to decide on one of six new flavours to be sold the whole year round. It seems the idea of this one was to make a bag of crisps that tasted like sausage bacon egg and ... Read the complete review

Builder's Breakfast is one of the 6 new flavours that walker's introduced after their do us a flavour competition. This one went on to be the winner. The packaging is very similar to that of every other packet in the brand. Is stands out by maybe being a little but bigger which is always a bonus. When I opened the packet I ... I do have an unhealthy obsession with crisps and was quite intrigued when the six new flavours of Walkers crisps came out. The first flavour I tried were the Builder's Breakfast flavour. Packaging The packaging is pretty similar to that of all the Walkers crisps except the packet is actually quite a big bigger which is probably ... Read the complete review

I am a little disappointed the builders breakfast crisps from walkers won the vote to be introduced as the latest addition to packs of Walkers crisps. I don't have anything seriously against them, but when I tried them the first smell I got from the packet was a strong whiff of egg. I had hoped that they would not taste like egg too, as the am the ... Read the complete review

Well I've written reviews for the rest of the flavours so I thought I'd save the winning flavour for last. Builder's breakfast sounds like such a bizarre flavour for crisps at first but when you actually open it, it all makes sense. To smell you'd think that the crisps were smokey bacon, which makes sense really given that bacon is a ... Read the complete review

I'm a traditional girl at heart and when it comes to crisps I know what I like, cheese and onion and nothing else. Imagine my distain when I heard that Walkers were holding a contest to come up with a new flavour that far from being a one minute wonder novelty would actually be sold all year round! What new flavours would there be I ... Read the complete review

Intrigued by the adverts for the Walkers new crisp flavour competition, I purchased packets of several of the different types of new crisps in the pub one night to share with some friends whilst having drinks. Out of all the new flavours we tried, this is the one that I remembered the most - and not in a good way! The bag was a little ... Read the complete review

I'm a huge fan of Walker's Crisps. They are, in my humble opinion, the best crisps around bar none. But this new Builder's Breakfast flavour is, to be frank, awful. Just awful. When I was actually eating the crisps, they didn't actually taste too bad. Possibly even the best* of the six new awful flavours they've been ... Read the complete review

Oh, I do love crisps. I could sit and eat them all day if I wouldn't get fat. I was intruiged to see all the six new Walkers crisp flavours when they first came out, I actually entered a flavour - Bangers and mash! But obviously it didn't get picked. Anyway, I thought I'd pick up a packet of each new flavour in my weekly shopping and out of the ... Read the complete review

I have been aware of the Walkers 'Pick us a winner' campaign for a while now, but hadn't actually gotten around to trying one of these six new flavours until this morning. Not being much of a crisp person, none of them had ever particularly appealed to me, but this morning I found myself with an unusual craving for crisps and so picked up this ... So as a lot of you will all know, a while ago Walkers brought out a competition to find out a new flavour of crisps - their 'Do us a flavour' range. They consisted of Cajun Squirrel, Chilli & Chocolate, Crispy Duck & Hoi Sin, Fish & Chips, Onion Bhaji and Builders Breakfast. I believe the campaign lasts until May this ... Read the complete review

This is one of the latest flavours from 'Walkers' as part of a campaign for a new addition to the product line where consumers can vote for their favourite flavour. For me, this sounded like the most interesting flavour of the whole campaign. The one I was very eager to try to see what flavours they had taken from one of my favourite ... Read the complete review

I really love crisps. I think the love affair went back to when I was younger and all I could buy was ready salted, with this little blue bag. I'm sure some of us slightly older ones will. Whilst on holiday a new flavour came out - Prawn Cocktail. This really made my holiday and I've loved crisps ever since. So much so that about 10 years ago I ... Read the complete review

I absolutely love crisps and can easily sit and eat quite a few bags in one sitting with no problem, and quite often do! This is a fairly new flavour and if interested you need to grab a bag (also available in a variety bag with other flavours or as a pack of six, I bought mine as an an individual packet for 59p) as they are on trial ... Alright darlin', lovely crisps! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or so we are told, and sometimes there is nothing better than a big fry up, bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, etc with lots of mugs of hot tea! Yummy. This can also be classified as, "The Builders Breakfast," a big hearty meal to get your day off to a ... Read the complete review

I have to say that I am quite fascinated with all these new flavours walkers are experimenting with but I'm still not really sure if they are any good. The builders breakfast is no exception. These are supposed to taste like a fry up with bacon, egg, sausage and beans. The best thing about them is that they do taste like bacon, egg, ... Read the complete review

I love crisps but am a bit fussy and only tend to eat certain brands. I'm not a huge Walkers fan as I find their crisps OK but nothing special. I prefer crisps with a bit more crunch in them, like Doritos, McCoys or Kettle Chips. However I am a sucker for unusual flavours and when I first heard about the Walkers new flavour competition ... These were the second of the new flavours that I decided to try and, to be honest, the jury is still out on how I feel about their taste....supposedly combining the flavours of a traditional english breakfast, the crisps are alleged to be made up of bacon, egg and sausage flavours reminiscent of the most important meal of the day.
