Whilst in Morrisons at the weekend I spotted that they had an offer on the Walker Baked Crisps. Having previously tried a couple of flavours I decided to see what the Sour Cream and Chive one was like. The offer was for 2 multipack bags of crisps so I also got the Cheese and Onion flavour for Boyfriend. I don't like the flavour so I won't be reviewing it but I have included it on the fat content table at the bottom of this review for those of you that are interested in that sort of thing. Packaging. The Walked Baked Sour Cream and Chive come in a multipack bag which is predominantly green. It's a lighter green than the bag that the Walkers ... Read the complete review

I do love a bit of a bargain, and I always take a look at the reducd areas in any supermarket I visit, as sometimes I can get some lovely food there at dirt cheap prices, or even find something new to try . My recent browse of the dented tins / torn packs shelf saw me coming homw with a six pack of Walker Baked in Sour Cream and Chive flavour for 91p. Normally this is £1.30 in Asda, and given that they were still in date, and that the full six bags were there, with only the outer bag being torn, I was pleased with my little bargain . I'm only an occasional crisp eater , probably having a pack every couple of weeks, and a small one at that, but ... Read the complete review

I probably eat at least four packets of crisps a week as a 'treat' as I love snacking on them when I get home from work. However, I don't think crisps provide me with any particular nutritional value - I just like the taste! With this in mind, I always try to get the lowest calorie crisps possible, whilst maintaining the best overall flavour. This can be tricky a tricky balancing act, as most crisps contain quite a high amount of saturated fat and can be pretty high in calories for what they are. Walkers Baked potato snacks are clearly marketed at people who are health conscious, as they have "70% less fat" on the front of the packet (this is 70% ... Read the complete review

Walkers Baked are crisps that have been out for a few years. They are marketed as low calorie, low fat and it states that they have 70% less fat than other Walkers crisps, which sounds great, but with 70% less fat, will they taste like anything at all? You can get these in a few different flavours, but i'm reviewing the Sour Cream and Chive ones, as I love this flavour of crisps weather it be Pringles, Marks and Spencer or Walkers. The bags are 25g and are the same weight weather you buy the bags individually or in a 6 pack. The individual bags cost about 45p and the 6 pack costs about £1.40. These crisps are pretty thin and they are ... Read the complete review

For some reason since starting to eat healthier I have developed a real craving for crisps and crisp like products - one of those if you can't have it you want it type of things - so have been on the lookout out for healthier options. And I found Walkers Baked. On checking the ever present health label that each bag contains 99 cals and 0.4g of sat fat, so the prominent claims of less than 70% fat looked true. Good start I thought. On checking the shelves I couldn't find my preferred salt and vinegar flavour but spotted the sour cream and chive ones and thought I'd give them a whirl. The 6 bag multipack retails for between £1.30 and £1.40 and is often part of a ... Read the complete review
