Walkers bbq crisps have been one of my faves since they brought the flavour out, but when Walkers started using sunseed oil some of the flavours suffered and I reckon these bbq ones were the worst affected. They used to have a proper meaty flavour and even though there was never a mad load of flavour powder on the crisps they were very strong and addicting. Now though the meaty flavour isn't there as much and the crisps taste proper artificial and you can taste the chemicals in the flavouring. There's a bit of a sweet flavour in them as well that you can't taste when you're eating them but it comes out just as your about to swallow them and then it ... Read the complete review

So next on my sudden addiction to Walkers crisps and my tour of the flavours comes the Barbecue ones. I have to admit that I?m not really a big fan of this flavour but do like it a lot more than those evil Cheese and Onion ones. Of course as already stated in previous ops, my favourites are easy to establish. The Beef and Onion and Prawn Cocktail in the original and the Chicken flavour of the Sensations brand. I know I?ve seen these in a multipack, but it was a mixed one with 2 other flavours and I cant for the life of me remember which flavours they were. However this multipack will set you back 96p from any supermarket. Otherwise the standard packet of crisps ... Read the complete review

From my other Walkers Crisps reviews you will have gathered that I do quite like a bag of crisps every now and then and that due to the fact that I am often left with the Salt and Vinegar flavoured ones I do snatch up a bag of my choosing every so often. The bag I pinched out of the basket today was a packet of Walkers Barbecue flavoured crisps. Walkers have been producing crisps since 1948 are a well-known and well-loved brand. They produce numerous flavours including Roast Chicken, Ready Salted, Smoky Bacon, Salt and Vinegar and Beef & Onion as well as many, many more. The packet for the Barbecue flavoured crisps is black in colour, which ... Read the complete review

"Oh no!" I hear you say, "not another b***dy crisp review" Er..."yes", is the simple answer. The problem is that I like crisps. I like all savoury snacks, and some sweets too, but Savoury Snacks are my "thing". So, today I'm spouting forth my bit of "wisdom" on the king of all crisps: Walkers Barbecue flavour crisps (mmmm..heavenly). *** Who are Walkers (in case you live on a different planet)? *** Walkers Snack Foods are Britain's biggest crisp manufacturer who, according to their website, employ 4,000 people in 15 locations. They started from humble beginnings - a man named .... yes you guessed it ... Read the complete review

Ive seen these in a multipack, but it was a mixed one with 2 other flavours and I cant for the life of me remember which flavours they were. However this multipack will set you back 96p from any supermarket. Otherwise the standard packet of crisps is available for just 36p or the grab bag variety will set you back anywhere between 45p and 80p depending where you buy it from. The multipack obviously works out cheaper then buying your 6 packs at once but you get roughly 10g less for your money than with a standard bag. The standard bag contains 34.5g each, which is good enough to have as an addition to your lunch. The main downside to Walkers is for the calorie ... Read the complete review
