... Doritos crisps. They are very well coated in cheese flavour but the powder does not come off too much and so they are evenly coated in cheese flavour. the flavour is really strong so if you do not like cheese, you will not like these. (Ooooh a rhyme!) The quality of the actual crisp is good, as are all Walkers crisps - crunchy and quite thickly cut and not at all greasy. The sunseed oil that Walkers now use is meant to be healthier as it is lower in saturated fat. These are fast becoming one of my favourite flavo...more

Premium Review Walkers Cheddar Cheese Flavour Crisps: A new flavour of crisps from Walkers (259 words)

I didn't know until yesterday that Walkers have brought out a new cheddar cheese variety. I like cheese and onion crisps and also I like cheesy crisps generally so thought these would be a nice change with my lunch. These crisps are quite dark and look very powdery but they taste lovely. There is a lot of flavour powder on them and this makes them taste strongly of cheese. I was surprised that the crisps did taste of cheddar cheese because most cheese crisps have a very artificial cheese flavour. I could definatly taste cheddar, not just any cheese but it was cheddar. It is a strong taste and the flavour is like it has been baked into the crisp itself because ...  Read the complete review

I love walkers crisps, for me they are better than any other brand on the market. I also love cheese and before these were introduced cheese and onion used to be my favorite. These cheese flavoured walkers crisps are realy rich and creamy in taste, the cheese flavouring is very nice, much nicer than i expected it to be, it isnt too sharp or tangy but a nice mild creamy taste to it a bit like the taste of a spreadable cheese. The crisps are not always evenly coated with flavouring though, some of the crisps taste very weak and others have a very dark residue on them which as soon as you put it in your mouth you know it is the cheese flavouing it is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Walkers Cheddar Cheese Flavour Crisps: Great brand but not a great flavour. (205 words)

I have always enjoyed Walkers crisps but in the past they always seemed a bit too greasy and after eating a pack my fingers would be covered and I would feel quite queasy. Thankfully they changed the oil thatthey cook the crisps in to Sunflower oil making them a lot less greasy and now I can happily eat a pack or two without that sickly feeling. However with all of there flavours I am really not sure about this chedder cheese one. I really do love cheese and grabbed a pack thinking that they were bound to be good as they from Walkers but in fact the flavour was just too much. The crisps were very well coated, to the point of being very ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Say "Cheese" (569 words)

I recently purchased a multi-pack of Walkers crisps in my local supermarket and was surprised to find that amongst the usual flavours was a packet labelled "Cheddar Cheese". Along with the majority of the British public I had tried Cheese and Onion crisps many times over the years and so was intrigued to see how this new flavour differed. ~~ Packaging ~~ I only mention the packaging as it isn't quite what I expected. The packet is the traditional blue colour with the Walkers logo but whereas previously, the flavour was in small lettering, Walkers now emblazon this across their packets in bold lettering making it more obvious as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Walkers Cheddar Cheese Flavour Crisps: So utterly cheesy! (231 words)

I found a packet of Cheddar Cheese flavoured Walkers crisps in a local pound shop. I had not seen them before so thought I would give them a go. I do not think they are widely available in newsagents, which probably means they are not one of the most popular flavours. I am not sure why, as they are truly delicious. Cheese flavour Doritos are hugely popular and in my mind these cheese flavour Walkers have a far superior cheese quality to Doritos crisps. They are very well coated in cheese flavour but the powder does not come off too much and so they are evenly coated in cheese flavour. the flavour is really strong so if you do not like cheese, you will not ...  Read the complete review
