Best Cheese and Onion Crisps (Walkers Cheese & Onion Flavour Crisps)
Member Name: cathodbach
Advantages: Great tasting Disadvantages: Not many in bag! Want More! Colour of packing misleading! Walkers have been around for years and their crisps have just got better - taste wise, that is. I never buy these as single packets (too expensive) but only ever as part of a multipack. Was really glad when they started making multi packs of just cheese & onion, because this is the best flavour. In our house, absolutely nobody will eat salt and vinegar or prawn cocktail and we used to have to give those flavours away, but now we have multi packs of cheese and onion, it's great. These crisps have lots of flavour (although even more flavour wouldn't go amiss) and are always fresh - maybe it's the packaging. However, when you're hungry the bag size is much too small and a bag twice the size would be better - it seems greedy to eat two! One thing I would mention about the bag; it seems to be universal that cheese and onion crisps come in green packets. Walkers, on the other hand, come in blue, which is the colour most manufacturers use for their salt and vinegar. On more than one occasion I've grabbed a pack from a multi-box, automatically gone for the green and ended up at work having no lunch because, of course, I picked up the salt and vinegar, which I don't like. So if anyone from Walkers reads this, please change your packaging back to green and do something about the quantity in the bag (but keep the price the same or you'll be sending people back to the supermarket brands). Summary: Great crisps, poor value for money. |
