I adore crisps and I particular love BBQ flavour products. I'd never seen these before and I don't know how they slipped my beady radar but when I saw them in my local Nisa store I grabbed a bag greedily and couldn't wait to do the all important taste test! The Packaging: Plastic bag, silver foil inside and on the front it is black and the back is white. On the front of the bag I'm told they are Walkers BBQ Rib, there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there and the size is stated which in this case is 34.5g as they were purchased singly. On the back of the bag other information includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed ... Read the complete review

Walkers crisps are the original and one of the best in my opinion. The crisps are a good size and cut from good potatoes, it is very rare to find a bad crisp in your bag and this is great as I don't have to particularly worry about paying much attention when delving in to the bag and wolfing down a whole packet in 2 minutes flat! The crisps come in a foil bag (for freshness) with black colouring (for BBQ Rib) and the familiar Walkers logo as well as nutritional information, ingredients and further details on cooking methods, potatoes used and information on Walkers themselves. The bag is very informative and for the purposes of reviewing I had a good old read ... Read the complete review

I first discovered these crisps in the vending machine at work. I went to get my usual pack of steak and onion, and in slot B2, was an impostor! BBQ Rib flavour! Now I've never had BBQ ribs, in fact just the thought of eating ribs makes me a little queasy, but I wanted meaty crisps and these it seemed were my only option. The crisps come in a black packet which tells me that they're made with sunseed oil, and to be honest, apart from the colour of the pack, there's not much else to distinguish them between other flavours of Walkers crisps. The crisps themselves have that sort of powdery coating to them, the same way Pringles do, where they leave a ... Read the complete review

Everyone loves a good barbecue and crisps are generally the nations favourite snack so what could be better than a product that combines the too, welcome to Walkers BBQ rib flavour crisps, another gorgeous flavour from the brilliant Walkers range. Walkers crisps have been around now for well over 60 years now. A gentleman called Henry Walker took over a butchers shop in the 1880's but after the second World War he saw production go down and had to look for other ways to make money. He began hand-slicing and frying potatoes and sold them as potato crisps, the first flavour being Cheese and Onion. Now there are so many flavours to choose from the choice is ... I'm all for fancy crisps; Doritos, Monster Munch, Nik-Naks, Wheat Crunchies...the list goes on, but sometimes I just fancy a bag of 'normal' potato crisps and when I do I always reach for Walkers! These are my favourite flavour of Walkers crisps. Some people thinks its a new flavour but its only because it used to be known simply as 'Barbeque' and is now 'BBQ Rib', it tastes exactly the same and is also in the same black Walkers bag. Think they changed the name about 18 month ago, god knows why! The bag I'm reviewing is from a multipack so slightly smaller than the bags you can buy singularly. Its 25g and I got six in a pack for ... Read the complete review
