Walkers Pickled Onion flavoured crisps. Do they taste good? Well, these certainly has there own unique taste, personally I like them. But I don't think they're for everyone. The flavour is strong, but not eye watering, and do actually taste like pickled onions, which is rare for crisps. So yes, they taste good, if you like pickled onions then you will like them. Walkers crisps have been around now for well over 60 years now. A gentleman called Henry Walker took over a butchers shop in the 1880's but after the second World War he saw production go down and had to look for other ways to make money. He began hand-slicing and frying potatoes and sold them as potato crisps, the first flavour being Cheese and Onion. Poking my hand into the glove box yesterday I was relieved to find a packet of crisps that hadn't been taken into the house, my daughter and I had been on the road for three hours and I was starving so set about to eat a nice bag of Salt & Vinegar crisps.
