Advantages: Taste Great, Always fresh and crispy, lots of flavours

Disadvantages: Promotional flavours often short lived.

There is something about walkers crisps that puts them in a different league to all other varieties. I'm not sure if it's the potatos that are used, the way they are cooked or how they are packaged in foil, but frankly they taste delicious and also taste fresh. They are crispiest and taste the best and are always my choice when buying crisps off the supermarket shelves.

The range of flavours walkers manufacture is quite vast. Aside from the old favourites, such as Cheese and Onion, Salt and Vinegar and Ready Salted, Walkers also make other more meaty flavours such as BBQ Rib and Smokey Bacon, which are by far the best packets in the multipacket and therefore not surprisingly are the first ones to leave it.

Walkers also do special promotional flavours from time to time, which is always a shame when you really like a particular flavour, knowing that eventually it will cease to exist and you may never experience such a taste ever again.

They are available as single packets, small multipacks, large multipacks and even large cardboard boxes which usually contain about 30 packets. You therefore are given heaps of choice when it comes to the number of packets you wish to buy and very few other crisp manufacturers offer such a wide range of configurations.

Overall, really nice crisps!

Summary: Best crisps on the market.
