Advantages: Tasty, Walkers quality

Disadvantages: Not enough flavour, no duck!

Number three to try on the new Walkers flavours is Crispy Duck and Hoisin. I don't eat duck, so I had a quick scan of the ingredients to see if there was in fact any Crispy Duck used in these crisps whatsoever and no surprises that no there is not and it fact it clearly states that they are suitable for vegetarians! So what we have is Hoisin flavoured crisps then.

The quote on the back is as follows "Vicky's sweet and tangy sensation could lead to new Chinese proverb 'Man with bag of Walkers Crispy Duck & Hoisin flavour crisps has many hungry friends'" Hungry for a Builders Breakfast maybe?! They do taste sweet and I did get a very faint taste of that unmistakable Hoisin sauce flavour but that's all it was..faint. Hoisin Sauce is a really punchy rich sauce and that's what I was expecting from these crips. Like the other special flavours so far it was far from exciting and bordering on boring.

I bought my other bags from Tesco and another from a corner shop in town. This bag I got this morning from my newsagent and they win the price war so far. The 46g bag of Crispy Duck and Hoisin cost me 45p.. bargain. Also what was interesting was that so far on all the packets and promotional material I have seen for this campaign, in order to vote for your favourite flavour you need to text the name of it to 51199. In my newsagent they has a poster up advertising the fact that Walkers are now running a daily prize draw to win £100, and all you need to do is text WIN plus your flavour choice to 51199. Also which is good, all texts are free. So remember if you are voting add WIN to the text and you might get £100, they don't put this on the bags though!

As I've said in the other reviews, I think these bags are far too big and the calories content is horrific as the other flavours 241 calories per bag, 15g fat and 0.6g salt. When I've tried them all I'm giving crisps up for a little while.

Overall I rate these above the Cajun Squirrel and Onion Bhaji flavours but I'm still only half way through the tastings! NEXT!

Summary: I would have them again but they wouldn't be first choice
