Advantages: Wonderful taste

Disadvantages: VERY unhealthy

At first observation, this seems like an utterly crazy idea, surely, but it is part of Walkers' recent highly publicised "do us a flavour" campaign, where the general public could suggest flavours to Walkers. Walkers chose six of those flavours, which were sold for a short time whilst a vote took place. The flavours include the likes of "Cajun Chicken", and "Builder's Breakfast" (which ultimately won). My favourite, however, is Crispy Duck & Hoisin.

Judging by the reviews on here, as well as people I've spoken to, a lot of these flavours didn't go down so well, not to mention this one. In honesty, I thought the winning flavour itself was pretty bland, but the Crispy Duck and Hoisin flavour, to my bewildered surprise, actually tasted something like the actual article. I eat a lot of Chinese food, so regularly buy this, and found that there was more than a hint of Hoison sauce in the crisps, and although difficult to replicate, the very distinct, wonderful taste of duck was definitely there.

Like other bags of Walkers, they cost 45p each, which isn't too bad, especially when they're limited edition and taste this wonderful! Sadly, though, that taste comes at a price - they contain a colossal 15g of fat, which is absurd for a packet of crisps, and may well be one of the reasons that they didn't win the vote, considering they taste so utterly delicious! I'm sad that these are no longer available, because they're among the best Walkers crisps I've ever tasted, and for Builder's Breakfast to win over this is, in my opinion, totally ridiculous!

Summary: Unhealthy but very nice
