At first observation, this seems like an utterly crazy idea, surely, but it is part of Walkers' recent highly publicised "do us a flavour" campaign, where the general public could suggest flavours to Walkers. Walkers chose six of those flavours, which were sold for a short time whilst a vote took place. The flavours include the likes of ... Read the complete review

Having seen the advertisments for the do us a flavour crisps both my wife and I were very excited when on a journey to Essex we finally found them in a petrol station. We picked up packets of each to try and I must admit that this is the one that I just couldn't take to, to me it was revolting, so I've let my wife write a more balanced review as ... There can be barely a consumer out there that doesn't know what all the fuss is about regarding the 'Walkers' current 'Do us a flavour Pick Us A Winner!' competition, that is running until 1st may 2009! Personally, thus far I have refused to get dragged into what I consider to be a very cleverly orchestrated, well advertised ... Read the complete review

This is one of the latest flavours from 'Walkers' as part of a campaign for a new addition to the product line where consumers can vote for their favourite flavour. This flavour has been re-created so many times and I wasn't too bothered about trying them, though of course I did and was pleasantly surprised. I guess because 'Walkers' ... Read the complete review

This is the first and so far only new flavor of crisps that Walker has been advertising, that I have finally decided to try. I wasn't brave enough to try the chili and chocolate and since that was the only other one they had available at the local store at the time, I picked up the seemingly less controversial flavor. For ... Read the complete review

Many of you may have read my review on Walkers Crisps Builders Breakfast, so I'm not going to repeat my history of being 'addicted' to crisps. What I will say though is that I had to stop for a while eating any type of crisp. If I eat one packet - I need another and another!! After trying out these 6 new flavours I'm going to abstein again for a ... Read the complete review

To Be Honest I Think That The Idea Of It Is Good... But I Couldnt Actually Tell They Were Duck And Hoisin, And Had I Been Blindfolded, I Doubt Very Much I Would Have Guessed The Flavour. I Was Expecting More Of A Unique Flavour. Not To Be !!!

This is the fifth Walkers trial flavour that I've tried, and is marginally my favourite! Ironically this was the one flavour I was dubious about as I don't eat duck so wasn't sure if I would enjoy the flavour of it. On opening the bag, the smell reminded me of spare ribs from the Chinese takeaway so I figured that if nothing else, they ... Read the complete review

I was reasonably optimistic trying this flavour of the limited edition range but unfortunately was extreemely dissappointed...they were truly horrible! I love duck and dont have a problem with odd crisp flavours do thought these would be perfect, this was not the case! I tried the first one and thought it actually tasted like vomit! I did give them another chance and this wasnt as bad until the after taste hit me!!! My conclusion...I think you could grow to like them but should you really have to train yourself to like crisps!!!

This is my penultimate review of Walkers new taste range launched as part of a competition to decide a new flavour as suggested by consumers. All of the flavours so far have aimed to be different and unique and while some of them have succeeded, this doesn't nessecarily mean that they will be a commercial or viable success. Duck And Hoi Sin ... Read the complete review

Do us a Flavour!! This morning I reviewed the Fish and Chips flavour of crisps and now I am reviewing the crispy duck and hoisin flavour. Just as a little bit of background on the subject, as you all know, Walkers Crisps are polling the Great British people to try and find the next flavour of crisps. A few months back they asked for ... Read the complete review

These crisps are currently on sale as part of a national promotional campaign by manufacturer Walkers. The company launched a competition to invent a new and unique crisp flavour. Six of the best ideas were then produced and put on sale. Only one of the six can become the new permanent flavour though. Which it will be is going to be decided by ... Read the complete review

Having read an abundance of these Walkers crisps reviews on dooyoo I was quite disappointed when I couldn't see them in our local Tesco, as I felt I was missing out, not being able to see for myself what they were like! I cannot imagine that anyone reading this review will not know what it's all about - I can't imagine how you'd come ... Read the complete review

Well with me being a fan of anything new to try on the market and a great fan of walkers crisps already i decided to try all the new flavours in the competition and have to say i so far have not been very impressed and only have one flavour left to go, the fish and chip. I brought this particular flavour from our corner shop on a 2 for ... Read the complete review

Number three to try on the new Walkers flavours is Crispy Duck and Hoisin. I don't eat duck, so I had a quick scan of the ingredients to see if there was in fact any Crispy Duck used in these crisps whatsoever and no surprises that no there is not and it fact it clearly states that they are suitable for vegetarians! So what we have is Hoisin ... Read the complete review

After being very disheartened after trying the previous Walker's flavours I was now over half way through the six flavour taste test when it came to these crisps. I had tried Builders Breakfast which were just ok, I then tried Fish and Chips and nearly threw up at the smell and Cajun Squirrel, well please lets not mention those crisps ever again. ... Part five of my six reviews on the new Walkers crisp flavours brings me to what it probably the most 'normal' of all the concoctions - 'Crispy Duck & Hoisin', a Chinese dish which tastes fantastic in real life, but how will it translate into crisp form? All of the single 46g packs of the new Walkers crisps cost around 50p from the ... Read the complete review

The idea behind these crazy flavoured crisps - These Crispy Duck and Hoisin flavoured crisps are 1 of 6 new flavours as part of Walkers "Do us a flavour" campaign. The idea of this campaign is to introduce these 6 new flavours as previously suggested by the great British public, we then try them all, and vote for our favourite ... Read the complete review

I had a feeling that, out of all of the flavours in the running for being the next Walkers flavour, the Duck and Hoisin would win over the others. The quirky names and strange mix of flavours may put some people off, whereas duck and hoisin is already a recognised combination in meals, and seemed to hold the most potential in ... Here's another new Walkers find us a flavour crisps review. I recently got a variety pack of these (and 2 other flavours) as I was eager to try their new flavours hoping I would find something good that I could vote for... but alas... no good. These crisps didn't really taste like duck in hoisin sauce to me... I'm not sure what exactly ... Read the complete review
