Doritos Chilli Heatwave are Mexican style chips from the Walkers Crisps company.

Packaging
The Doritos Chilli Heatwave come in a bright red bag which stands out vastly from the Blue and Orange of the other two bags, the red is very distinct and helpful if you were to guess what flavour was in the bag you probably would pick a hot chilli one!

The Doritos logo is quite fun and includes a blue triangle chip surrounding the D and O and there is a nice triangular chip which dots the I in Doritos. Below the logo you will be told the flavour of the bag. The background of the packet is quite fun and has some modern 3d prism shapes which make it seem like the text is exploding on to the pack.

In case you don't have any idea what a Dorito is you get a picture of two full Dorito chips on the front of the packet. They look very tasty and appetising and if you are hungry you will probably be more inclined to purchase some Doritos! You also get a little diagram box with the nutritional values of the bag. On the rear of the pack you get the ingredients listing and of course detailed nutritional values.

Doritos Chilli Heatwave
Once you pop open your bag you will be hit with a chilli aroma, it is quite strong and for a chilli it has a rather sweet smell. Inside you will have lots of tasty Doritos crisps, each of these are triangular in shape though yours may vary from crumbs, snapped bits and full crisps as they can easily be damaged in transit.

Once you pop one into your mouth you will be hit with the sweet chilli taste, it is rather pleasant and has some spice to it but not enough to put you off eating more and more. The flavour is quite intense and this variation has got to be my personal favourite flavour of Dorito to date.

The texture of the crisp is also very good, it has a really great crunch to it and it is a lot less greasy than your standard Walkers crisp. Chilli Heatwave Doritos are quite filling crisps and a single bag should probably be enough to fill you up, but the flavour is so great you might force (actually probably not, they are delicious!) yourself to eat more!

Nutritional Bits
In a 30gram bag of Chilli Heatwave Doritos you will get 150kcal of energy, 1.2 grams of sugar, 8grams of fat of which 0.7 is saturated and 0.4 grams of salt. Not great for you but in moderation some Doritos now and then won't hurt you!

Price & Conclusion
I bought my Doritos in a multipack which consisted of 4 Tangy Cheese Flavour, 4 Cool Original Flavour and 4 Chilli Heatwave Flavour. Each bag is 30grams not a lot but enough for a snack. A multipack bag of these will cost you from £1.50 -2 depending on where you shop, you can also get them in bigger bags of 245 grams. Overall Doritios Chilli Heatwave are a great crisps and one of my favourites, the Chilli Doritos are definitely the best in the range!
