I don't know what it is with me and these crisps, but I can't make up my mind if I like them or not! When I eat them, I find that they're really spicey with a thick, curt chilli flavour to them. In fact a lot of the time I'll dip them in the Doritos Sour Cream Dip just to cool them off a bit. I like that they're almost sweet, but not quite, and the way the spices fire up my taste buds while I'm eating them.

What I'm not so keen on is the burning sensation in my poor mouth when I've eaten some of these. It doesn't matter how much dip I eat with them, or how much lager I down after eating them - they still leave my mouth on fire for a good twenty minutes after I'm finished.

The only thing I can think is that perhaps I'm not so keen on these, but the MSG in them is what keeps me going back for more. The trouble with MSG is that it makes foods like this seem addictive, even if you're not actually that keen on the flavour.

They definetely have a really nice texture to them though. They're really crisp and brittle, and great for crunching down on. They're usually curled slightly at the ends which is handy for dipping purposes.

If you want to give them a try regardless, Tesco sell the 225g bags for £1.47 each and at the moment they're on offer at 3 for £3.50 which is a saving of £1. I always want to eat these when I see them, but to be honest I do prefer Walkers Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli crisps to these.
