... both flavours - but didn't want to eat too many of one flavour in a row - they were definitely tastiest when eaten together or intermittently. The salsa chips were really zingy & left a tingly hot feeling on the tongue. I enjoy crisps with a bit of bite to them, so these definitely hit the spot. I did however find that a couple of minutes after eating the crisps, I had an odd taste in my mouth which I can only describe as being like washing up liquid! (Not that I really know what this tastes like!). I'd be i...more

Premium Review Walkers Doritos Collisions: You'll like these.....but not a lot (433 words)

On our latest shopping trip, the other half popped a packet of Doritos collisions into the trolley. These are basically a large (200g) bag containing two different flavours instead of the usual one. The packet that he selected had 'T-Boned steak' and 'Grilled pepper' flavours inside. Here's what I thought....... *PACKAGING* These come in a nice shiny bag, containing 200g of chips. The front is half a bright green colour, half red - with the Doritos name also of course. The back of the bag contains the nutritional information and guideline daily amounts - which are a good idea as it puts into perspective what you are ...  Read the complete review

We are having a change from cake in the office, so I picked up a bag of these Doritos Collisions from Tesco at lunchtime. I chose them purely because they were by the checkout whilst I was queuing up, and they cost about £1.50 for 200g. There are 2 types available - steak and pepper (?) and the one I got which is salsa and chicken. The bag is one of the large size sharing varieties, and are foil packed like normal Doritos. Opening the brightly coloured bag, I was faced with two different colours of Doritos denoting the different flavours. The chicken ones are a lighter colour, like the Cool Original Doritos, and the salsa ones darker like the cheese or chilli ...  Read the complete review

I am a Librian (not to be mistaken with a Librarian!). As a librarian I can't make decisions so when I saw a bag of Doritos that contained two flavours in one bag I simply couldn't resist buying them for me and my bf's dvd watching the other night! At £1.59 a bag for 200g and the said two flavours (in this case chicken sizzler and zesty salsa) my bf looked at me like I took complete leave of my senses as I jumped up and down at the checkout buying them. I was so excited..yep am easily pleased you don't know the bf lmao!. The Bag.... I have only seen these available in the one size and the one flavour (which is what I owned however they are available ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BOOM!!!! WHEN TWO FLAVOURS COLLIDE (342 words)

Dorito's Collisions come with two flavour's in one bag, The variety I experienced were t-bone steak and grilled pepper. They come in a 220g bag and as is the norm these days you get a great big bag half full of air!! Once you open the bag you are met with an overwhelming beefy smell that some people may find far too strong, me personally I like my Dorito's to have some flavour and these really do have a lot of flavour. The t-bone steak description could well be pushing it bit, they do remind me of BBQ steak but not quite sure if it is t-bone or rump or any other steak, Chargrilled steak would have been just fine as a description. The grilled pepper ...  Read the complete review

This review is for the Chicken Sizzler / Zest Salsa variety of Dorito's Collisions. Dorito's collisions are a fairly new product in the Dorito's range - combining 2 differently flavoured tortilla chips in one bag. I guess half the chips are supposed to be Chicken Sizzler flavour, & half Zesty Salsa, but the bag I bought seemed to be predominantly Chicken flavour. I enjoyed both flavours - but didn't want to eat too many of one flavour in a row - they were definitely tastiest when eaten together or intermittently. The salsa chips were really zingy & left a tingly hot feeling on the tongue. I enjoy crisps with a bit of bite to them, so ...  Read the complete review
