Advantages: Worth a try
Disadvantages: Not my cup of tea
Why I chose this product?
we've all seen the flashy advertising campaign on our TV sets- the ones with Gary linekar stealing the crisps! Well i was looking forward to try this flavour as it would have bben one i would have suggested if i couldv'e actually been bothered to enter. For ages after the product was launched all the shops I tried had sold out, so i was expecting great things of these little lovelies. eventaully my boyfriend got me a pack to try.
Where to find this product:
Like i have mentioned this is 'at the minute' a difficult product to get hold of as it is a limied edition as with the others in the series. I'd try local shops and supermarkets for a pack- they also come in a multi-pack of 6.
Cost:
Pricey for a pack of crisps at 65p per pack!! i know crisps have gone up in price but thats a bit ridiculous for a 25g pack of crisps.
Packaging:
Classic Walkers packaging with a twist. this pack has a picture of a fish and chip shop on the front and a rosette saying Vote for Me!
Nutritional Information: (per pack)
Sugar: 0.3g
Fat: 8.2g
Saturates: 0.6g
Salt: 0.33g
Calories: 133
Product performance:
Smell: These crisps smell fishy, very much like Scampi fries.
Taste: dissapointing, they didnt taste like fish and chips, i expected them to be more like salt and vinegar with a fish taste throen in. However, the taste is a bit damp, a bit like salmon sandwich paste.
Recommendation:
If you like the sound of Salmon sanwich paste crisps then great but this product definatly wasn't for me and one i will not be purchasing again.
Hope this review was helpful to you xx
