I've said it before, it seems that a lot of these Do us a Flavour packets should have been made permanent. I've just finished munching the last bag of Fish and Chip crisps that I have in the house and I must say I've devastated.

As soon as you open the pack you get the whiff of a Fish and Chip shop, the vinegar, the newspaper, the fish, it's quite hard to explain what it all smells of but you know it's what it's meant to be.

Taking them out of the packet the crisps feel like standard Walkers crisps, which is of no surprise really I suppose. AS you eat them though they don't really taste like Fish and Chips as such. They more accurately taste how fish and chips smell, it doesn't really make sense but they taste mostly of vinegar and a little bit of fish. Maybe the chip element comes from the fact that the crisps are made of potatoes too? I'm not really sure on that one and I'd like to challenge someone else to help me understand that.

None the less, regardless of what they actually taste like these are definitely a top flavour and the ones I'd hoped would make it through to being a permanent flavour.

Summary: One that should have stayed.
