Advantages: Very tasty

Disadvantages: I think the flavour might be flavourings rather than the real deal

I like to eat crisps and if you've read some of my other reviews, particularly my top ten sandwiches then you'll no that I absolutely adore ketchup!! I like to put it on everything and before these crisps came out I even tried putting it on crisps. It tasted pretty good actually, although it took away the taste of crisp quite a lot. So when Walkers Heinz Tomato Ketchup Flavour Crisps came out I just had to try them. As they were part of the Walkers range I knew that I could trust them to be the best quality because lets face it Walkers do make the best quality crisps,

I bought a packet of 6 fore £1.15 from Tesco's which seemed like a pretty fair price to me. They come in a red packet, a bit darker than the plain ones and a bit more red than the smokey bacon ones. They had the massive Walkers logo on the front along with the words TOMATO KETCHUP in bold, the Heinz logo and a picture of a crisp. On the back are the ingredients and all the need to know information.

Ingredients:
Potatoes, sunflower oil (32%) , tomato ketchup flavour[acidity regulator (sodium diacetate), flavourings, flavour enhancers (monosodium glutamate, calcium diglutamate, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate), whey powder (from milk), lactose (from milk)], salt, potassium chloride .

There's no artificial colours but for some strange reason even though Plain Walkers crisps and Heinz Ketchup are milk free, this packet does contain milk, so if you're allergic don't eat them!

They smell very tomato like, it's like there really is ketchup on them. As usual for Heinz they have a nice crunch to them and are full of flavour. They taste of ketchup, and not like its made from ketchup flavouring (which it probably is) but it tastes like real ketchup.

Overall I think these are a fantastic crisp especially for people like me who love Ketchup, they're full of flavour and live up to the high Walkers standard.

Summary: Try it, you might like them, I sure do
