Advantages: still edible
Disadvantages: weird tangy flavour that's nothing like tomato
I usually buy a pack of crisps to go with my sandwich from my work vending machine, but as they cost 40p a pack, it works out much cheaper buying a multipack. When out shopping I noticed the Tomato Ketchup flavour, and was sure I'd had them years back and loved them, so put a multipack in my basket.
These are not simply tomato ketchup flavoured, they are Heinz tomato ketchup flavoured, and the combination of what is arguably the best manufacturer of ketchup along with arguably the best manufacturer of crisps, make you expect a good quality product.
The taste of the crisps, I must admit, is nothing like I remembered. I don't know if they have perhaps changed the recipe recently, but the flavour is unusual and not really anything like ketchup in my opinion. It's a very sharp, tangy flavour, and I wouldn't immediately identify it as tomato flavoured. In fact, I'm not sure I would identify it as tomato flavoured at all, if I didn't already know that that was what it was supposed to be. There is a hint of tomato there, don't get me wrong, but it's not really all that detectable beneath the tanginess of...well...whatever that flavour is - I can't really identify it!
Saying this, the crisps are still edible. I didn't eat them and think 'these are disgusting' I just thought 'these don't taste at all like ketchup'.
Like all the Walkers crisps these ones are made with sunseed oil, which is lower in saturates than normal cooking oil, but of course at the end of the day these are crisps and they are never going to be healthy! Saying that, these didn't have the greasiness that some of the other Walkers crisps do - such as the ready salted, which often have quite a greasy feeling to them.

I bought these in a mutipack of 6 for £1 on special offer, but they usually retail around the £1.25 mark for a pack of 6, and if you buy them individually you're probably looking at around 40p a pack. Available from most big supermarkets.
Overall, I was quite disappointed with these. Like I said, they are still edible, and not totally awful, but the flavour is really not what I was expecting, and not what I remember them to be. If you want tomato ketchup flavoured crisps, I would suggest looking for another brand, because these really don't taste anything like ketchup or tomatoes for that matter!
Summary: I won't be buying these again...
