 ... It is though that flavour that sets them apart from your ready salted, cheese & onion and salt and vinegar of the 'normal' crisp experience. I can't say they particularly taste of lamb or mint, in that way you would get from a lamb dinner. They have a distinct "lambandmint" rolled-into-one comibation sort of flavour - and it works. I love the combination of lamb and mint - in fact I would go as far as to say I can't ever remember eating lamb without some sort of mintiness involved. Even when I used to eat take-away kebabs, they had to have mint yoghurt on. Some of you may have gleaned from my other reviews that I like to eat a bag of crisps now and again! I was given a bag of these recently and thought all my dreams had come true at once. Lamb AND mint AND crisps! All at the same time! As some would say, I got tore into these straight away. In terms of original flavours to produce for crisps, there are a number of hit and miss flavours that have come from the thinking shed at Walkers. While I am often on the fence with a lot of flavours, one that actually impressed me was the Lamb and Mint flavour. I am a big fan of Roast Lamb anyway, it's actually my favourite roast, and I'm one of those people who has mint sauce with just about anything - I love the flavour of mint. So, I had high hopes for these crisps, but was a little bit tentative as I have found that crisps that experiment with flavours often produce a bit of a manufactured and fake flavour with one overpowering the other.
