Anyone who regularly reads my reviews will know how much I love crisps, I just adore them! I stumbled across these in my local convenience store and I'm sure I've become addicted! I just love em! The Packaging.... 50g orangey/pinky colour foil packet. On the front I'm told they are indeed Walkers, Max Deep Ridge Potato Crisps and that information is on a crisp which is the background picture. On the top left hand corner of the packet I'm told 'Sunseed, Naturally, Lower In Saturates'. Then bottom right hand corner I'm shown an at a glance nutritional chart. Then on the right hand side of the packet I'm told' Max flavour, Paprika flavoured ridge ... Read the complete review

Sadly, my work's snack machine is starting to become a bit of a regular feature on here, particularly when (like now) they change the contents. Today's lunch was a pack of paprika flavoured Walkers Max, which at 60p were a bit more than I usually spend on a bag of crisps, but the bag was 50g, which is a little under twice the normal 30g size of bag of crisps. ===Packaging=== The size of the bag was a little larger than I am used to (but after all it does have more crisps). The packaging was a garish orange colour, with the word MAX sprawled across it in a black stamp-like font, together with a giant picture of a crisp next to a potato that was positively ... As everyone knows, Walkers are the name when it comes to crisps. The popular brand has a plethora of different flavours, for any conceivable taste. Walkers Max are the crisps with a kick; ridge cut to give that extra flavour to the customer. I was then somewhat disappointed when I first tried these crisps to discover that the flavour is not what I would call 'Max'. Don't get me wrong, the flavour is excellent, and very delicious, however, the paprika flavour is merely a mild taste that will soon disappear - this is excellent if you enjoy a nice paprika crisp that doesn't give a long remaining after taste, but if you're going to put 'Max' on a bag, then you ... I'm going a bit mad on these Walkers Max crisps and this morning I had a bag of the paprika flavour and really loved them. Max are ridged crisps like McCoys but they are thinner and that makes them more crispy and they taste a lot lighter, the ridges are also very close together and I think that makes them taste fresher than McCoys for some reason. The flavour of these is yummy. The paprika isn't too strong and it gives the crisps a lovely smokey flavour, it's quite sweet and spicy and tastes very nice. Under the paprika flavour you can taste the potatoes in the crisps and they do taste a lot fresher than other crisps I think, after I've sucked ... Read the complete review
