I'm going a bit mad on these Walkers Max crisps and this morning I had a bag of the paprika flavour and really loved them.

Max are ridged crisps like McCoys but they are thinner and that makes them more crispy and they taste a lot lighter, the ridges are also very close together and I think that makes them taste fresher than McCoys for some reason.

The flavour of these is yummy. The paprika isn't too strong and it gives the crisps a lovely smokey flavour, it's quite sweet and spicy and tastes very nice. Under the paprika flavour you can taste the potatoes in the crisps and they do taste a lot fresher than other crisps I think, after I've sucked all the flavouring off I like to crunch the crisp afterwards and then it's lovely.

The taste of the paprika in the crisp lingers in your mouth for quite a long time, it's not a nasty aftertaste but it does last for longer than I thought it would and it starts tasting a bit stale after a few minutes.

You get quite a lot of crisps in the bag and I reckon that's a bonus because they're so yummy that I can't stop eating them! A bag contains about 250 calories and that's not bad because you can make the bag last for ages.
