These bags look big but trust me, they are the perfect size for one person, and you still won't want to share! There is also an offer available on the packs right now, collect 3 packs (or 1 85g pack) and for only £5, you get a retro t-shirt with t...more

Walkers Mega Monster Munch Roast beef flavour What are they? Well if you don't know this already, where have you been?! Monster Munch were a staple favourite in the 80s when I was a kid and though they disappeared for a while, they are back and not only that, they are as big as they used to be too! They are a maize snack with fantastic strong flavours (again, these haven't changed since my childhood) such as roast beef, flaming hot and pickled onion. They are shaped like monsters feet and have a glorious crunchy/melty texture when you eat them (that probably isn't the best explanation but anyone who has ever eaten them will know what ...  Read the complete review

Monster Munch can now be bought in bigger bags with a more old school theme a plain background with a monsters face on it and a bag that's the right way around. The new bags are part of the Mega Monster Munch branding in which walkers have happily admitted "We've made them smaller", the bags have part in the top right of the bag explaining. "NEW OLD! BIGGER like THEY USED TO BE". Now if only Cadbury's would admit the same about creamé eggs. The bag I have in front of me is of "Flamin Hot" flavour, so for those bothered, this is also a review of the "Flamin' Hot" Monster Munch. Inside the red coloured plastic packet we ...  Read the complete review

I love the odd trip down memory lane so when I saw a large bag (85g for 99p in Sainsbury's) of Mega Monster Munch Pickled Onion I just had to pick them up. Most readers will already know what Monster Munch are, well, quite a few years back they used to be much larger with seemingly bags more flavouring. Well this is where Mega Monster Munch have come back from, the old days! There is three flavours available at present: Pickled Onion, Roast Beef & Flamin' Hot. Pickled onion are my favourite as they are heavily coated in onion flavouring and very vinegary. They give stinking breath but I don't care as they taste delicious! Roast Beef really do ...  Read the complete review

It's a Pickled Onion lovers delight - MEGA Monster Munch Old Skool styleee. Now I've been married for a fair few years and so snogging is not high on my agenda. In fact interacting with my other half has moved into the mentally intune with each other so we've no need to speak, let alone snog much state. Where, dear god is this heading...? Well, my one true food love is the mighty pickled onion and all it's various flavour distributings over both the onion itself and the many potato and corn based snacks to be discovered. Therefore, my pungent breath is now fully onioned out whereas in my early marital courting stages I may have been more ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Walkers Mega Monster Munch: I like them monster sized (252 words)

I love these crisps. I remember monster munch seeming to be pretty massive as a kid, and then they made them smaller. Now they're described as new 'old' style, meaning they have returned them to their previous monster size. These snacks by walkers are a baked corn snack, they have a melt in the mouth texture and can be found in various flavours. My packet I had is flamin' hot (but gotta love the pickled onion too.) Flamin' hot is a lovely tingly spicy flavour that definitely packs a punch to your tastebuds. The mega monster much come in a 40g pack, with a picture of the monster on the front. A cute blue one with his tongue poking out, very appealing ...  Read the complete review
