Walkers Mega Monster Munch

Roast beef flavour

What are they? Well if you don't know this already, where have you been?! Monster Munch were a staple favourite in the 80s when I was a kid and though they disappeared for a while, they are back and not only that, they are as big as they used to be too! They are a maize snack with fantastic strong flavours (again, these haven't changed since my childhood) such as roast beef, flaming hot and pickled onion.

They are shaped like monsters feet and have a glorious crunchy/melty texture when you eat them (that probably isn't the best explanation but anyone who has ever eaten them will know what I mean) Another fab selling point for me is that shops are currently selling massive 85g bags for just 99p. These bags look big but trust me, they are the perfect size for one person, and you still won't want to share!

There is also an offer available on the packs right now, collect 3 packs (or 1 85g pack) and for only £5, you get a retro t-shirt with the monsters on it. Tacky? Not at all, this actually looks really cool and I would like one.

Nutritional information is as follows;

Nutritional Information (per 40g bag)
193 Calories
2.8g Protein
23.6g Carbohydrates (of which only 1.2g are sugars)
10g Fat (only 0.8g are saturated)
0.6g Fibre
0.27g Sodium (0.68g Salt equivalent)

The product contains Soya, Maize, Wheat

Should you buy these? Yes, yes yes! My favourite is the roast beef flavour, they are probably the best snack on the market right now. Top tip, don't open them in front of people, they will want to share them and trust me, these are not for sharing! :-)

Summary: Hide them and keep them for yourself!
