These crisps are beasts they pack a lot of crunch, are overflowing with flavour and are a hefty size too. A real manly snack - which this woman just loves!
You can either buy these monstrous snacks in singular bags or multibags containing various flavours. These flavours being Pickled Onion, Roast Beef and Flaming Hot.
These are clearly shown that they are walkers crisps - and it also tells us these are baked. Above the words Monster Munch there is a brightly coloured 'monster' - who isn't at all scary just mischieviously fun looking in my opinion.
Each crisp is shaped a bit like a 3D monsters bulky 'paw' with a space in the middle for you to pop your fingers through if you wish. Only fingerS though if you have quite small fingers otherwise as in my case it's just one chubby finger I can squeeze in there to be abel to wear it as a ring lol. I chomp on each toe and the bottom half of the ring paw drops into the palm of my hand for me to chomp on.
Each monstrous munch has a satisfying crunch to it, but it soon begins to melt and slither away when the warmth and wetness of your tongue and mouth defeats it. They have quite a rough texture to them and they also tend to leave quite alot of crumbs - I do find them quite a messy crisp to eat. They are quite chunky - and although they do melt once in your mouth a young toddler who is eating finger foods may struggle to accomplish one of these chunky paws and the texture may be a little too rough for them too and could possibly hurt their tongues.
Roast Beef - These are definitely beefy, they have a slight hint of brown to them which is the flavouring I find the darker the brown the more flavoursome the crisp. They are very moreish and flavoursome and I find them quite filling and satisfying to.
Pickled Onion - These most definitely taste like vinegar, pickles and tangy and they are very tasty although after a few my tongue begins to sting a little as the flavour can become a tad too much. I do enjoy this flavour but in moderation due to the overpowering taste. Alongside the strong flavouring is the pungeant smell - they absolutely wreak, you can smell and taste them on your breath and hands a few hours later even after washing your hands and brushing your teeth - especially if you burp - I am NOT a lady lol! Despite the soreness of my tongue afterwards for some reason this is still my favourite flavour!
Flamin Hot - These have a redness to them and the redness can often be forced onto your tongue, the tang to me becomes a bit to spicy you see after eating a few and leaves my tongue feeling quite tender which is a shame as again the actual taste is lovely and is hot the way it's meant to be. Although they are quite spicy they have a sweetness to them too which is what makes them so tasty. These are again a flavour which I need to eat in moderate amounts.
Each pack contains;
108 cals
0.7g sugar
5.5g fat
0.5g sats
0.3g salt
Overall I find these a flavoursome and filling snack, I do find I need a drink at hand whilst eating them and a bib and a bowl to collect the crumbs. So long as I don't eat too many of these all in one go I really enjoy them they create a monstrous session of toothsome flavours in my mouth for me to devour and appreciate. Keep a cocktail stick handy too for afterwards as I find as they melt their messy slush gathers up around your teeth and can be a nightmare to get out of your teeth - unless you want to save it for a tasty snack later - lol I am joking..honest!
