This is one of the latest flavours from 'Walkers' as part of a campaign for a new addition to the product line where consumers can vote for their favourite flavour. I'm sure this flavour has never been attempted, or at least to my knowledge it hasn't, but at the same time it wasn't one of the flavours in this campaign that grabbed my attention. I'm quite the fan of onion bharji's though with the other flavours much more ridiculous in name this was one of the last packets I tried just because it didn't grab my attention; however as they say, save the best until last - and that's exactly what I did (unintentionally of course). When you open the packet ... Read the complete review

Having tried two of the other "test" flavours in Walkers "Do us a flavour" competition, I decided to give these a go in the hope that they might actually be a variety that I would go out and buy rather than just being another novelty taste sensation. Thankfully there is something highly original about this flavour (as there was with chilli and chocolate) but these also taste like a flavour that could sell and market well! (unlike chilli and chocolate!!) As soon as you open the bag, you are assaulted by familiar smells of Indian spices reminiscent of a curry house. If you don't like spicy foods, you may be advised to give these a miss as not ... Read the complete review

Yesterday I reviewed the new Walkers flavour Builders Breakfast flavour so today I'm reviewing the Onion Bhaji flavour! These crisps are currently on sale in Tesco - 2 six pack bags for £2. I currently intend to try a different flavour each day. I'm not a huge Walkers fan - as far as crisps go they're OK but nothing special - but I love trying unusual flavours of crisps so I wanted to try these new flavours, particularly as five of them will only be around for a short while. For anyone who doesn't know, Walkers ran a competition for people to invent a new crisp flavour. Six finalists were short-listed and won £10000 each. The six flavours are now on sale so ... I love crisps and I particularly love trying strange new flavours of crisps that I've never tried before! This what attracted me to try this particular flavour of crisp.. == About Walkers == Walkers is probably the most well known and successful crisp company in Great Britain and Ireland, and has been around since the 1880s believe it or not, and was setup by a meat company in Leicester. Nowadays, Walkers is owned by a company called Frito-Lay, which in turn is owned by Pepsico. The American crisps 'Lays' are also owned by the same people. Walkers still has it's roots in Leicester, sponsoring Leicester City's football stadium and Gary Linekar, a ... Read the complete review

After trying the chilli and chocolate flavour crisps from walkers and almost being sick I decided to take a risk and try another of the new flavours. This time I went for Onion Bahji as to me this seemed like the safe option due to the fact I normally love these! The packet is a very pale blue colour which I have to say makes the packet look quite nice, it has a band of darker blue at both the top and bottom of the packet. In the middle is a sqaure and inside this is a picture of an onion bahji. I actually have to admit I really lilke this packet! On opening the packet I can see all the crisps seem to be quite large which is good and also have a ... Read the complete review
