Advantages: The best flavour of the campaign! Exciting and fresh. Original!

Disadvantages: Why has it taken so long for these to surface!

This is one of the latest flavours from 'Walkers' as part of a campaign for a new addition to the product line where consumers can vote for their favourite flavour.

I'm sure this flavour has never been attempted, or at least to my knowledge it hasn't, but at the same time it wasn't one of the flavours in this campaign that grabbed my attention. I'm quite the fan of onion bharji's though with the other flavours much more ridiculous in name this was one of the last packets I tried just because it didn't grab my attention; however as they say, save the best until last - and that's exactly what I did (unintentionally of course).

When you open the packet you notice the great smell of classic Indian onion bharji's! It's really welcoming because you just don't expect it to be so good. The smell is actually pretty perfect and you can begin to imagine how good these crisps must be if they smell this good! Next I took a crisps and popped it into my mouth and wow was I amazed. The taste was unreal! How had they managed to get it so right? With onion bharji's being made up of many ingredients I was surprised how accurate it was! Of all of them I'd have expected this to be the hardest to create. The only problem with having finished the packet was that I now wanted a traditional onion bhaji. They make you want the real thing - but luckily the crisps are a good substitute if you don't have any bhaji's in the house. I can see myself buying these in the future and hope they win!

I bought this packet along with the other five flavours in the campaign:

The pack of six, offering two packets of three flavours was on offer from my local Somerfield at a 'Buy one get one free' deal for £1 a pack.
