Well I have been sitting here reading and rating reviews having my usual nightly fix of a packet or 6 of crisps and a very large vodka and Diet coke! so I thought I would do a review of my latest packet for you, prawn cocktail. THE PACKET This packet as with all Walkers crisps come in a foil packet which help to keep the contents fresh. The packets have shrunk in size recently and now only weigh 25g. The packet is pink in colour with the usual Walkers logo featuring a picture of a potato being sliced and then as the slices near the front of the packet they are shown as a crisp. There is also the 'sunseed' logo at the bottom left of the ... Read the complete review

I was so pleased when my Mother pitched up with a multi bag of Walkers Prawn Cocktail Crisps the other day! I haven't had them in far too long and as a kid they were my favourite cos in my mind they were 'posh' crisps (bear in mind I'm 33 and there was no such thing as Creamed Cheese and Caramelized Onion back then lol I was dying to eat them! The Packaging... My packet is multi size bag which is smaller than a standard bag and therefore a little healthier! Bright pink, telling me clearly who makes the product and that they are indeed the prawn cocktail flavour and also that the are made with sunseed oil. On the back tells me ... These have to be, alonside beef falvour the most disgusting flavour of crisp available, how I let myself get suckered into buying these is beyond me however they were about the only brand of Walkers crisps that I had never tried so I thought I would give them a chance. They come in a distictive bright purple packet with the Walkers brand splashed across it. When you open the packet you do get a rather feint smell of something fishy, certainly I would not say that you would immediately identify it as the smell of prawns however I'm not sure I would be able to tell you the smell of prawns as opposed to any other fish. In terms of taste they ... Read the complete review

Walker's prawn cocktail crisps are made by Walkers. These crisps are very popular and come in pink packets in same size as other flavours like cheese and onion. I don't know when I had these first, it must be over 10 years ago now. I was frozen in time for few seconds when I first tasted these crisps, absolutely amazing taste unlike anything I had tried before. I have fallen in love with these crisps. They are simply delicious, no other word to describe these crisps. The taste is slightly sweet, slightly salty and hint of tinge. Prawn Cocktail crisps like all the other brands produced by walkers have gone little bit healthy. Now these crisps are cooked in ... Read the complete review

I haven't had a packet of Walkers Prawn Cocktail crisps for agggggges but today there was a bag in the cupboard and I had to have them even though they're not my fave flavour. These are one of the few flavours that Walkers haven't mucked up since they changed the oil they use to make their crisps and they still taste yummy. Prawn Cocktail crisps don't taste of prawns or prawn cocktail but I do think they've got a bit of a faint fishy flavour when you eat them. They are quite sweet tasting and even though that sounds mad they are proper tasty. The crisps are very thin and that makes them lovely and crispy, there's loads of flavouring on ...
