Advantages: Very tasty and light crisps, melt in your mouth

Disadvantages: ----------

If I've ever posted a comment on your review saying that I don't like Quavers then please forgive me, I honestly was under the impression that these are not crisps I'd enjoy - until this morning that is when my two year old granddaughter toddled in clutching a half eaten bag and stuffed one into my mouth before I could protest!

As it melted and fizzed in my mouth I was surprised at the creamy cheese taste of the crisps, I'm not a fan of cheese flavoured foods (although I adore cheese itself) but these are very tasty indeed.

The crisps are made to be curly and because they're so light and insubstantial you seem to get a lot more in your bag than other crisps of this type. My granddaughter always hunts through the bag for those which are almost circular because she loves finding the crisps which have almost turned back onto themselves.

The flavour of Quavers is very simple. It's a very mild cheesy flavour through which you can taste the actual puffed crisp itself, they are a little salty in flavour but this serves to accentuate the cheesiness of them rather than overpowering the flavours within the crisps.

Obviously these aren't the strongest flavoured crisps you're ever likely to come across as they are made for young children who are just embarking on their discovery of different flavours and textures. I'd say it would be practically impossible to choke on a Quaver, indeed all three of my granddaughters' have eaten them from a very early age and the fact that they melt so completely in their little mouths means these crisps take very little chewing.

Unfortunately I no longer have the packet to give you the nutritional information, but I know a lot of ladies in my Weight Watchers group eat these as they are fairly low fat and fit far better into their healthy eating plans than other crisps.

Summary: I can't believe I thought I didn't like them!

These are a WW favourite and rightly so - utterly delicious, very buttery and of course cheesy without staining your fingers like Wotsits (not on the WW diet sadly!)
