Advantages: Alright tasting

Disadvantages: uneven spread of salt

Salt & Shake is from the 'walkers' brand of crisps, they come in a white and blue pack and can be bought individually for about 50p and for about £2 for a set of 6. You can probably guess what you have to do with salt and shake to get them to taste nice, yes you got it, you have to add the salt to the crisps and shake the packet about to add salt to all crisps as evenly as possible.

If you eat these crisps without the salt added they are very plain and don't really taste of anything other than the potatoes there made from. The problem with these crisps is that the salt really doesn't get spread about well enough and you end up with too much salt on some of the crisps and to much on other crisps.

To be honest if you want ready salted crisps your better off going for a standard pack of walkers rather than this less than satisfying option. It's a snack that isn't great at filling you up, it gives you greasy fingers and it isn't particularly healthy and the crisps only taste alright so your probably best off eating something else if your hungry.

Summary: ok crisps

I remember the little blue bags, too. That was in the days when crisps were only made by Smith's (whatever happened to them?). These ones of Walkers are designed to appeal to those of us who get cheaper car insurance!

I don't really get them - if you want salted, why do it yourself?
