... have a certain amount of that, but the difference that they do actually taste of chicken. The lemon is a nice aftertaste, and compliments the crisps perfectly. However, they have recently changed this recipe, and opted for the newer chicken and thyme flavour. These are nice, but they make the chicken taste a little more fake, and are too close to the regular chicken flavoured crisps. I much prefer the chicken and lemon. Sensations are a 'better' quality crisp, using no artificial sweeteners, flavour enhancers, preservat...more

Premium Review Walkers Sensations Oven Roasted Chicken with Lemon: Walkers' upmarket range does it again! (356 words)

Walkers have an up market brand of crisps, the range being entitled Sensations. There are a few flavours, but the one I have tried more recently is this one, the Chicken and Lemon flavour. The idea is to recreate the taste oif roasted chicken with a hint of zesty lemon as an aftertaste, and they hit the nail on the head in many ways. I have always found that 'chicken' flavoured crisps often don't taste anything like chicken, tending instead to smell and taste more like a fake, slightly meaty flavour with a hint of barbequed something or other as well. Walkers Sensations Chicken and Lemon do have a certain amount of that, but the difference that they do ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A wedge of lemon (229 words)

Sensations are the up market version of crisps made by Walkers and at the moment at Tesco you can get bags at half price so they are 73 pence rather that their normal retail price of £1.46. The question has to be whether they are worth the extra and personally I feel that they are, certainly the lemon chicken flavour were worth it and it is a shame that they have changed the recipe now and done away with the lemon in favour of thyme. I find these crisps a lt less greasy than the standard brand and they also have a nicer more mellow flavour to them. They are golden brown in colour and in the big bags some of the crisps are quite large as well, they ...  Read the complete review

Walkers Sensations Oven Roasted Chicken with Lemon 140g I saw Walkers Sensations Oven Roasted Chicken with Lemon in my last visit to Quality Save and it was offered for no more than 75p like many other crisps you can find there. Being a really good price, I thought I would try it. Normally, this 140g bag of crisps is available in Tesco for £1.46 and in Asda as well for only £1 at this time. If you brown chicken pieces, add water, lemon slices and cook, pour in some honey and thyme five minutes before you finish cooking, you will end up with a great and easy dish. These Walkers crisps taste almost the same, for you actually notice all the ...  Read the complete review
